So I'm thinking I will sign up for comcast, despite my previous reservations. It just doesn't make financial sense any other way.

So... someone commented that I don't update here much. It's true. I occasionally twitter random inanities, but nothing much.

Workout plan got put on hold due to money woes. Yes, even rich people can have money woes.

I need to get my butt in gear to start a Master's degree. Can't quit my job to do the PhD, but at least I can make progress on it.

Not much else to say...

First session with personal trainer today. Ow. Took me 45 minutes and 4 glasses of water before I could reliably stand up again. I'm pretty sure I managed to tank my blood volume with all the exercise. Still, great endorphin rush! :-)

I tried to gamma-adjust the display... bad idea. Apparently the gamma varies based on viewing angle.

New video card: eVGA GTX 260 (not the Core 216 version, unfortunately)
New monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 2233sw

Inbound aircraft was almost 3 hours late. Finally leaving for Montreal. Looking forward to a good night's sleep.

30 minute security lines. Not too bad. People camped out here due to Horizon and Alaska canceling flights whole day at a time. Looks like I got lucky -- leaving yesterday or tomorrow would have been quite the unpleasant experience based on what I'm hearing here.
